Last updated: 4 October 2026

Minerol Limited respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and share personal information when you visit our website, buy or subscribe to Minerol, contact us, enquire about stocking Minerol, sign up for marketing or otherwise interact with us.

1. Who we are

Minerol Limited is the controller of your personal information.

Minerol Limited

Company number: 14795775

Registered office: Basement Flat, 2 Stamford Road, London, England, N1 4JT

For privacy questions or requests, contact:

info@minerol.co.uk

2. Information we collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with Minerol.

When you place an order or start a subscription, we may collect information such as your name, email address, telephone number, billing and delivery address, order details and subscription preferences.

Payment information is processed by our ecommerce and payment providers. Minerol does not normally receive or store your full payment card details.

When you contact us, request information or enquire about stocking Minerol, we may collect your name, business or venue name, email address, telephone number and any other information you choose to provide.

If you sign up to receive marketing from Minerol, we may collect your email address and information about your marketing preferences.

When you use our website, we may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referring website, approximate location and interactions with the site.

For business development, we may also hold professional contact information relating to people working for venues, distributors and other relevant businesses. This may include names, job titles, business contact details and publicly available professional information.

3. Where we get your information

Most personal information comes directly from you when you:

  • place an order
  • start a subscription
  • complete a form
  • contact us
  • sign up for marketing
  • otherwise interact with Minerol

For relevant business development activity, we may also obtain professional contact information from publicly available business websites, professional networking platforms, directories, distributors, referrals and other legitimate business sources.

Where we obtain personal information from another source, we provide appropriate privacy information where required by law. ICO guidance requires organisations to be transparent about the purposes, lawful basis, recipients and other relevant aspects of personal-data use.

4. How we use your information

We may use personal information to:

  • process purchases and recurring subscriptions
  • arrange delivery
  • manage payments, refunds and customer service
  • respond to enquiries
  • respond to venue and stockist enquiries
  • manage relationships with venues, distributors and other business contacts
  • send marketing where permitted
  • understand how our website is used
  • improve our website, products and services
  • protect our website and business from misuse or fraud
  • comply with tax, accounting and other legal obligations

Our main lawful bases are:

Contract, where processing is necessary to fulfil an order, subscription or another agreement with you.

Legitimate interests, where necessary to operate and grow Minerol, respond to enquiries, manage relevant business relationships, protect our business or improve our services, provided those interests do not override your rights.

Consent, where you have actively agreed to marketing or to the use of non essential analytics technologies.

Legal obligation, where we must retain or use information to comply with law.

5. Orders, subscriptions and payments

Minerol currently uses Wix for ecommerce, checkout, payment processing and recurring subscription management.

When you purchase Minerol or start a subscription, information needed to process the transaction may be shared with Wix and associated payment providers.

These providers may process:

  • contact information
  • delivery information
  • transaction information
  • subscription details
  • payment information

Full card details are handled by the relevant payment provider rather than stored directly by Minerol.

We use this information to fulfil orders, manage recurring deliveries, administer subscriptions, provide customer service and meet legal and financial record keeping obligations.

6. Venue and trade enquiries

If you complete our Stock Minerol form or otherwise contact us about stocking Minerol, we use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry and assess the potential commercial relationship.

This may include:

  • your name
  • venue or business name
  • email address
  • phone number
  • venue location
  • number or type of venues
  • information you include in your message

Form submissions may be processed using Web3Forms and delivered to Minerol through our Microsoft 365 email system.

Submitting a venue enquiry does not automatically sign you up for unrelated consumer marketing.

7. Marketing

If you choose to receive Minerol marketing, news or offers, we may use your email address to send those communications.

Where consent is required, we will ask you to actively opt in. We will not rely on pre ticked boxes.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in a marketing email or by contacting us at info@minerol.co.uk.

For consumer electronic marketing, PECR generally requires consent unless a relevant exception applies. Consent must be freely given, specific, informed and based on a clear positive action.

For B2B marketing, different rules can apply depending on the type of recipient. Marketing emails to corporate subscribers are treated differently from emails to sole traders and certain partnerships, although UK GDPR requirements still apply where personal information is used.

We maintain suppression information where necessary so that we can respect marketing opt outs.

8. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses technologies required for the site to function, such as those needed for security and checkout.

We also use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use the Minerol website.

Google Analytics may collect information such as:

  • pages viewed
  • website interactions
  • device and browser information
  • approximate location
  • referring sources
  • session information

We will not activate non essential analytics technologies until you have made an appropriate choice through our cookie consent mechanism.

You will be able to accept, reject or manage non essential cookies.

Under current ICO guidance, analytics cookies are not treated as strictly necessary and require consent before they are set.

9. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate Minerol, including:

Lovable, for website hosting and technology.

Wix, for ecommerce, checkout, orders and subscriptions.

Web3Forms, for website form processing.

Microsoft 365, for business email and communications.

Google, for website analytics where you have consented.

We may also share information with delivery providers, professional advisers, accountants, insurers, regulators or authorities where reasonably necessary.

Our website may link to third party services such as Trustpilot. If you follow one of these links, that third party will process information under its own privacy arrangements.

10. International transfers

Some of our technology providers may process personal information outside the United Kingdom.

Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure that an appropriate legal mechanism or safeguard applies where required under UK data protection law.

This may include transfers to countries covered by UK adequacy regulations or use of approved contractual safeguards.

11. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and to meet legal, accounting or regulatory obligations.

In general:

Order and accounting records may be retained for at least six years where required for company and tax records. UK companies are generally required to keep relevant accounting records for six years from the end of the financial year to which they relate.

Venue and business enquiries will generally be reviewed after around 24 months from the last meaningful interaction unless there is an ongoing relationship or another reason to retain the information.

Marketing information may be retained while you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we may retain limited suppression information so that we continue to respect your preference.

Analytics information is retained according to the settings applied within the relevant analytics service.

12. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you the right to:

  • request access to your personal information
  • request correction of inaccurate information
  • request deletion of information
  • request restriction of processing
  • object to certain processing
  • receive certain information in a portable format
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

You have the right to object to the use of your personal information for direct marketing.

To exercise a privacy right, contact:

info@minerol.co.uk

We may need to confirm your identity before completing some requests.

13. Complaints

If you have concerns about how Minerol uses your personal information, please contact us first so that we can investigate.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK regulator responsible for data protection.

14. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure.

No internet based system can guarantee absolute security, but we aim to limit access to personal information to people and service providers who reasonably require it.

15. Children

The Minerol website and our services are not specifically directed at children.

We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children for marketing purposes.

16. Automated decision making

Minerol does not currently use personal information to make decisions about individuals solely through automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

17. Third party links

Our website may contain links to websites operated by third parties, including social platforms, payment services and review platforms.

Once you leave the Minerol website, those organisations operate under their own privacy policies.

18. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our website, services, suppliers or legal obligations change.

The latest version will be published on this page and the date at the top will show when it was most recently updated.
